For the past 5 years, John Cena has sold more merchandise than any other superstar in WWE. That was until CM Punk entered Money in the Bank 2011 with a brand new t-shirt design which sold out within days. WWE spent the first few weeks after that t-shirt was released catching up with back orders.
Along with other new t-shirts and merchandise, CM Punk is now officially the WWE’s top merchandise seller. This is absolutely huge for CM Punk as it proves to the WWE that the fans are getting behind him.
CM Punk is expected to continue his feud with WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and have a run as WWE Champion in the very near future.
