ROB VAN DAM is advertised to appear in Mumbai, India on February 18 for Extreme Professional Wrestling (EPW).
EPW will be hosting the first international pro wrestling Championship Series at the event and it’s being called ‘EPW: Saviors!’ Bollywood star Suniel Shetty and former Miss India Sayali Bhagat are also advertised to appear.
RVD is currently under contract to TNA and performers for TNA have permission to appear for any indy promotion, so this shouldn’t be an indication on his TNA future. His employers do currently have a big project in India by the name of Ring Ka King – but this appearance is unrelated. It does however, highlight the growing market for pro wrestling in India.
