THEODORE Long kicks off SmackDown by announcing the Elimination Chamber match participants. Daniel Bryan will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, Big Show, Mark Henry and Cody Rhodes.
Mark Henry hits the ring and is furious about not getting a 1-on-1 title shot. He wants to be removed from the Elimination Chamber and given a singles match for the title. Theodore Long removes him from the Elimination Chamber, but does’t grant him a title shot. Henry becomes even more angry and puts his hands on Long – he then gets suspended, indefinitely!
Sheamus hits the him and lays Mark Henry out with a Brogue Kick! Sheamus talks about being unsure about which title to choose at Wrestlemania 28. Cody Rhodes interrupts him and the 2 go back and forth before a match is made between the 2.
1. Sheamus beat Cody Rhodes. Sheamus hit the Celtic Cross for the win.
Hunico vs. Justin Gabriel was up next, but the match didn’t start. Rhodes, who was still selling the match previous, was recovering and attacked Gabriel. Hunico, Camacho and Rhodes gave Gabriel a beatdown until The Great Khali returns! Khali chased off the 3 attackers.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre was pleading for his job with Theodore Long. Santino Marella entered and he has a new tag team partner to challenge Primo and Epico with – Hacksaw Jim Duggan! Aksana came on the scene for further comedy.
2. Primo and Epico (with Rosa Mendes) beat Santino Marella and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Mendes distracted Santino as he was going for the Cobra.
Daniel Bryan hit the ring and cut a promo about being a role model. Big Show hits the ring and says he just ate a steak! Big Show ends up giving Bryan a Chokeslam! AJ runs down and stops Big Show from continuing with the beat down.
3. Brodus Clay (with Naomi and Cameron) beat Heath Slater. Clay beat Slater with What The Funk. Drew McIntyre hit the ring after the match and attacked Clay. Clay managed to fend off the attack and took out McIntyre as well.
4. Beth Phoenix and Natalya beat Aksana and Tamina.
The Great Khali is announced for the Elimination Chamber, to replace Mark Henry.
Backstage, Josh Matthews interviews Randy Orton ahead of his match with Wade Barrett.
5. Randy Orton beat Wade Barrett. Orton hit the RKO to get the win.
Post-match, Daniel Bryan hit the ring and celebrated awkwardly. Theodore Long then announced Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton next week.
